Music player on S View?

Anyone know if there is a way to change the stock music player to maybe Spotify when using S View?

Anyone know if there is a way to change the stock music player to maybe Spotify when using S View?

An XDA dev, has an app "S-View music control", but it requires root for the Xposed framework and I'm not sure it will work with the Note 3 S-View cover (screenshots show S4).
It would be really nice as I'm a spotify user myself, and would love spotify cover control. Hopefully we'll see something soon.

I would like the ability to change it also but I would like to see tune in radio instead of the music player.

So frustrating that I have to root to change that.. I don't want to 1. take the time 2 risk screwing up my phone by rooting just so I can get some of these options... I have a mac on top of that and makes rooting harder it seems like because I try to do it but all the programs I can find to root are all for windows.
