AC Question

This is so weird and annoying...

My music player (the default one) and any other player I've installed suddently can't read a bunch of MP3 music files that were already on my phone and that worked yesterday. Not ALL mp3 files mind you, just some of them, mostly recent ones, but they worked perfectly well yesterday and for weeks before. These files work perfectly on my pc by the way.

I've tried multiple players.
I've tried deleting the music and putting it back.
I've tried emptying the cache.
I've even tried a factory reset...
I haven't tried exorcism yet.

I seem to be alone having this problem. I can't for the life of me figure out why.

What device are you using? Is this music you purchased? Is it ripped from CD's? Does it work on a different Android device?

Hi Evilnut,

I'm the author of the thread (I've just registered).

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S3.
It is music I've ripped from YouTube (then again, so is almost every other song in my phone).
And yes it does work on my Galaxy Tab 2.

Any ideas?

Well, I'm stumped. All my music is from CD's I have purchased & ripped, Google Play Music or Amazon.
