I have music stored in my phone (Note 4) and they're in a playlist. I can't seem to access my playlist through my gear s2 unless I transfer the songs into the watch, which i don't want to do. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Go to the music icon on the S2 and when it opens, you should see 3 horizontal dots on the right side: tap that and it should bring up a little bubble that says either "Play music from: gear" with a picture of a watch or, "play music from phone" and the picture of a phone. When it's on the music screen (with the play, forward and back icons), you should be able to swipe up and it should give you options for things like Library, playing, playlists, tracks, albums, artist. Now you can only get to music loaded in Samsung's player - not on Google Play. Hope that helps!

Thanks, but I still couldn't get it to work. Nothing happens when I swipe up. I'm using the stock music player that came with the phone.

Okay: on the Gear S2 you went to the music app; tapped the 3 dots on the right and then either tapped the icon (either shows Gear or Phone) or you can long press on the center and it will give you the option to switch. When you're on "Phone" - I was incorrect: you won't get the options I mentioned above as those only seem to come up when you're listening to music on the watch. If you're playing music from your phone, you'll have to pick the album or playlist , etc. that you want and then can use the gear to change the volume to skip or go back in tracks.
