Is it me or does music app suck on the LG3? Came over from the S4, been a few months now and one of the first things I noticed is that my tunes sounded a lot better on my S4 both through headphones and car stereo blue tooth where as on my LG3 it sounds like its coming from a low budget radio/mp3 player. All my music is on a sd card which I just switched from phone to phone. Do I need to format it in my LG3 and redownload all my music? SD card worn out? Your answers are appreciated, thanx.

You used the same headphones with your S4 as G3? With the stock player, the G3 is up there in terms of sound quality with any top tier phone. Can you go to a dealer and try another G3 with the same headphones? You might have a defective phone. Did you buy it new or used?

I too was disappointed with the stock app. I switched to Google Music and the sound was far superior. Try switching music apps and see if you notice a difference...

Well it sounds different, lesser quality, through my car stereo , which was my point, I'll try Google music

I use a couple different music apps when I'm wearing headphones. Through my car stereo though it's always Poweramp. The 10 equalizer bands and tone controls allow me to get a better sound than the rest.

I have never had a problem with the stock music app, but I do use flac files, all my music is 24 bit 192khz studio quality, have you tried it yet? The sound is amazing.
