Coming from a BB for music u had to put it to a play list on itunes then put it to your SD card is it the same on the DINC?

With it without a playlist. I created a folder named mp3 then dragged all my music inside there. No playlists needed, but are supported.
If you have ID3 tags it will sort them by tags like artist, album, etc.
There's music player apps that will let you create playlists as well. Such as MixZing
