Music starts randomly

This happens every time I've been listening to music using the Google Music App.

Here's an example of what I have going on. I'll be listening to music before bed. I'll pause the music and back out of the App. I've had no bluetooth enabled or headset attached. I set my phone beside my bed and fall asleep. Then all through the night the music starts randomly starting up. I didn't received any calls or texts to cause it. I haven't downloaded any new apps lately. The first time it ever happened I had been listening to music before work, then I shut the music off, and set my phone on my desk at work and started working on stuff in another part of the office. Suddenly I hear music blasting from somewhere. Turns out it was me.. This is annoying in any circumstance.
If I turn the media sound all the way down, it keeps it from being audible, but it will still start several times for the next few hours until it decides its done.
Anybody else having this issue that isn't related to a headset being detached or bumped or bluetooth?

My phone is rooted, but that's been done long before this music thing started happening.
