Music Stopping...

So I have tried reading all the other threads about music just stopping after the phone is playing for a while and the screen goes off, but none of them that I have found mention much about the Bionic.

While traveling I would use my OG Droid as a white noise machine and repeat one sound track that sounds like rain through out the night. Worked great, ran all night no issue.

Right now i set the Bionic up the same way i did with my OG and the music will stop playing what appears to be about 30 minutes after I start the music file and go to sleep. I know it is about 30 minutes because the file is about an hour long and it would pause just about halfway through the track.

Has anyone found a work around for this?

My Bionic is stock for now, and that happens on both the stock player and the Amazon MP3 app. No task killers installed.

I wish someone could answer this because I am having the same problem with Google Music and Google Listen.

I have a Droid Charge with the SAME issue. Google music, spotify, listen, etc.

At least others are having the issue and that something might be done about it. But this has to be one of the most annoying issues of all in my opinion.

I wonder if this a 2.3 issue?

I haven't really had any time to test this, but has anyone noticed if the recent update fixed the music stopping issue?

This happened to me on the way to work this morning. Actually froze up the whole phone requiring a battery pull.

I've never had the music stopping issue freeze my phone. Just stop the music. I'll keep the freeze in mind if it happens when I'm listening to any music.

Has never happened to me on a stock bionic. I use the full version of Power Amp from the android market ...the best app I've ever paid for
