Music stops when browser or youtube on background or phone locked.

As someone stated earlier,use Chrome access the mobile YouTube app. Start a video and pause it ,you should see a small speaker icon on the notification bar. Don't back out ,but hit your home button, the speaker icon should still be there. Pull coin your notification shade and start your video. It will play while using other apps and while locked. I made a shortcut for the YouTube page on my main screen for quick access. Hope this helps.

Download google chrome and go on youtube, log on and listen to any song, but wait for the ads to finish then you can lock your phone, the music will stop then go on the lock screen menu and click play, it works whether using bluetooth, the 3.5mm jack or the in built speakers. I hope this helps.

You have to subscribe to the PAID YouTube service for this feature. It's called "YouTube Red" and allows you to minimize a YouTube window and keep playing in background while you use other apps.

Try No Pause Lock. Great app that simply allows you to lock your phone without pausing active app like YouTube on lock screen

If you want YouTube music to play when the apps not open, you must have a play music subscription. Have you ever paid for YouTube Red service?

hello sorry do you fix it or not i have same problem not just with YouTube i have problem with google play and all music player i have and when i push the home button or push to make minimize its stops before works fine and now after upgrade or update the Motorola phone with android version.
