Music works on my tablet but my notifications and alarms do not

When the notification/alarm does go off all I hear is static like my title says though I can play music without any problems. If you can hear it I added an audio of what my alarm sounds like you may have to turn it up to hear it

Welcome to the forums! Go into system settings - sounds. Make sure that you set the audio to the desired levels.

Don't mean to sound rude but do you think I would be here asking what I did if it was as simple as turning up the volume. I get the static when I have it turned up all the way and no amount of turning it up or down does anything except make the static louder or quieter turning my tablet off doesn't do anything either
