where and how do i put music into my fascinate? I placed music into a folder i made and when i launch the music player it keeps talking about searching for media player but it never plays nor opens the music player

I use double twist to put music on my phone. It sync slow but has a nice UI and you can sync photos and videos too.

all i've ever done is drag them onto the phone (i place them in /media/music on my sd card)

I use iSyncr. Syncs with iTunes really well. I tried out Doubletwist but realized quickly it wasn't up to snuff. I also tried MediaMonkey with pretty decent success as well.

Did you unplug the phone from USB before trying to launch your music player?
