Mute other sounds during notifications?

The iPhone I had would mute (or at least lower) all other sounds when the phone rang or during notifications. Is there a way to do this on the Samsung Galaxy s5?

My Transformer tablet and S3 both do this. I haven't used my S5 enough to notice if it does it or not, but it would be strange if it didn't since it's a common thing. I glanced in the settings for a sec and didn't see a specific option for it, but then again there was no specific setting for it on my other Android devices that would do that.
