Mute phone calls not working

I've enabled "Mute phone alerts & calls" under settings. It works on disabling notification sounds but calls still go through. Any suggestions?

My understanding is that the Mute Phone Alerts & Calls option just turns off the notification sounds on the phone (since the watch should be notifying you as well). Therefore, when connected, if you get a phone call, the phone itself won't ring, since the watch is already either ringing or vibrating. It doesn't have anything to do with blocking calls themselves.

That's what I thought but my phone still rings even when this is enabled. Strange.

I'm having the same problem with the watch I received today. I'm getting an update, though, so I'm hoping that fixes this problem.
