Mute while on call not working since 4.4.2

Hi...I have RAZR MAXX HD, and ever since the 4.4.2 update, the mute is not working while I'm on a call. The phone shows it's muted in the status bar, but IT IS NOT!!!

I'm on conference calls all day, and this has proved embarrassing more than once! :-[

Anyone else have this issue, or know how I can fix it?

I can use the conference call's mute function, but it's much more inconvenient, as it takes several key presses to mute/unmute.
