I just purchased an MXQ Android OTT TV Box....but am having an issue that I've seen other users report the same trouble on other forums, but have yet to see a solution provided that works.
The box loads fine. However, during selection of a movie or television program within the Kodi application - the television shuts off. The only way to get the television to come back on is to pull the ax power cord from the MXQ box - and the tv immediately turns back on.
Internet tips led me to check the HDMI-CEC feature on my television to ensure it was enabled, and it was. I've swapped out HDMI cables but the problem continues. (*Note: I was able to stream 1 television program and watch it to its conclusion, but that is one program in a 7 day period.) I do not have this problem on the television when using a Roku device. The television is a Toshiba model.
