I've had my One for about two months now. Went with a silver 32gb originally but now I have a black 32gb on AT&T. I love it and wanted to share my review of it. Here goes:
Pros:
Battery life has been amazing so far. It started out with about an average of 18 hours of semi-heavy usage on the stock ROM and now I can almost get two days out of it with Revolution ROM.
Screen size is perfect for me. I used the iPhone 5 and GS4 and thought they were either a tad too big or too small. The density of the screen is amazing and the overall experience has been the best I've had with a smartphone screen to date. I consume a lot of media so this is definitely a good thing.
Storage space out of the box is snappy and more than enough for me. 32gb is my sweet spot and the fact that its internal storage makes it quicker and more responsive in apps such as gallery and video players.
Beats is a huge deal to me because I love music and its clarity. I listen to a lot of music in my car and the Beats make my factory speakers in my car sound loads better (2012 Civic).
Sense has come a long way and I prefer it over TouchWiz and stock. It has a good amount of extra features but isn't bogged down like Samsung's latest offering.
Cons:
Rooting wasn't as simple a task as on Samsung devices of the past but it wasn't too difficult. I used a Mac so that might have had some impact on the process.
Boomsound on the external speakers isn't as loud as I'd like sometimes and I'm not sure if its certain apps or what but sometimes it isn't very loud. Specifically watching Netflix with my wife's iPhone 5 was louder than my phone in all cased.
Charging time is pretty bad but I understand why they did it.
Camera could have had a few more Megapixels but overall I get good shots. Some are less detailed than I'd like in normal light but the lowlight photos are awesome.
That's it, my review of the best phone on the market. Let me know how it stacks up for you guys. Feel free the bash me all you want haha
