My 5X has extra text in the back

Why? I've seen videos on YouTube and photos and it's just Nexus and LG on the back. Why is mine different?

Yours is not different. All phones, including the 5X, have basic manufacturer's info and certifications on the back. If you were looking at promotional videos, they may have been doctored (or used demo devices) for a "cleaner" look.

Mine just has lg and Nexus on the back. Nothing else

I took mine out of it's holster case and looked. It had a small adhesive label with a barcode and an IMEI number. At the end of the label was a greenish tag with no adhesive that you use to peel the label off. So, mine had the information attached and now it doesn't. Unlike mattresses, the government didn't threaten to arrest me if I removed the tag.

Yes mine also came with this on and I peeled it off.

Other than the 5X, I also have an iPhone 6 and it does have that manufacturer's info and cert. in the back. So this is not new to me but I was wondering about the 5X because the videos and photos I've seen of the 5X have nothing on the back except for the Nexus and LG text.

Dont know. All of the other info in op's pic is under settings, about phone, regulatory info on mine and the physical back is mostly clean. Mine is also a US model perhaps if others are international ones that changes?

Modern shopping is complicated...but easy. My Nexus 5x came with the power plug for UAE. Other than that, it was fine.

Some variants have the text, others don't. This is because some countries/regions require the labeling on the device where others allow it to be located in settings.
