Android Central Question

My pikel 6 pro is acting really strange ,Instagram was sending codes with my number to some duo app I've never heard of ,all my accounts seem to be in delveoper mode and my face books changing by its self ,I had installed Kaspersky but I really don't think it's working properly, my GPU renderer Mali g78 has failed frequency and current frequency failed

Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean Instagram is asking for a 2-factor code from the authentication app Duo Mobile? https://help.instagram.com/566810106808145

What do you mean your accounts seem to be in "developer mode"? What makes you think that?

What do you mean your Facebook is changing by itself?

How do you know your phone's GPU has failed? Are you getting an error message? That's not the kind of thing that usually comes up as an error.

I edited one of your screenshots to remove your email addresses, for your privacy.

Just to remind you, this is a community of regular users and volunteers, so you need to give people more time to answer.

Duo Mobile is an authenticator app that's typically used by enterprise, rather than individual users (as opposed to an app like Google Authenticator). My workplace uses it for authentication when I need to log in remotely to our electronic medical record. Do you recall ever setting up Duo Mobile anywhere? Does your workplace require it?

That information from the DevInfo app doesn't tell us anything. I think "Frequency" is supposed to be the frequency at which the GPU chip operates -- "failed" just means the app is unable to measure it, for whatever reason.

Take a look at these, in the meantime:

Thanks that's the thing I don't have a workplace they are all personal accounts and I've never set up a workplace google account, and yeah I had definitely not set up duo up before .
I've also attached these different phone numbers that I got confirmation codes from Facebook I've looked them up online an they seem to be scammer numbers.
Thanks again for your time

Even though those are personal accounts, do you use your phone to access any work email accounts or use any apps that are specifically designed for something you do at work? If you did not set up anything work related, did the IT department at your workplace do that? If not currently, did you at one time work for a company that had set up something on your phone?

Log into any of your Google accounts on your computer browser, go to myaccount.google.com, select Security, then Manage Third-Party Access. Select Duo Mobile and Remove Access. You can do this with any other app you don't recognize.

In the meantime, make sure you have reliable 2-factor authentication set up for your sensitive accounts. Where possible, use an authenticator app, rather than SMS, as the 2nd factor (since SMS can theoretically be intercepted).

What would you recommend as I did have authentication on with Microsoft but when I was doing Instagram another password was put on there as I was carrying to reset it and there ended up been two different passwords on the authentication app

Do you mean you had two different Instagram accounts on your authenticator app? It might be best to delete both of them on the authenticator, and then set it back up again from the Instagram account.
