My Android shut itself off and now it wont turn on?! Please help!

[AC Question]

Over the last two days my HTC Phone kept shutting itself off, when it did this I would just remove the battery, wait a few seconds and put it back in. The phone would work as normal after that. This morning, however, I woke up and the phone powered off overnight and now it wont turn on! I removed the battery like I did previously, I help the power button for 30 seconds, I tried charging it (It won't charge), and I tried holding the volume key and the power button! I have no idea what to do, can anyone help please?

Welcome to Android Central! I would suspect a failing battery. Which HTC phone do you have? Try a new battery.
