AC Question

In the bluretooth setting on the watch itself it says "Nexus 6p Disconnected" but it is connected.
I have this with either watch I am sure that my previous phone said that my watch was connected.
Like many others I get the numerous bluetooth connection issues of the 6p though no one has mentioned this.

Mod Note, I will move this to the 6p forum for more visibility

I had this happen.
I had to restart the watch and it's been good.

Remember the watch is running Android too.

Personally i think this is part of the larger BT issues with marshmallow. My Azus Zenwatch is often disconnected and I can only get it connected by rebooting. My original ear piece that had no issues with my S5 disconnects almost instantly after connection and it and stays that way. I tried a new 4.0 device the Jabra Stealth. It would disconnect but then re connect. I had to return it due to what I thought were audio issues with it except the second one did the exact same thing. intermittent on call static and audio drop outs. The only thing that does not drop once connected is a TaoTronics TT-FT02 Wireless In-Car Bluetooth FM Transmitter that I have. I have no issues with this other than to have to manually connect it 50 percent of the time but it never drops the audio. This leads me to believe it is not a hardware issue with my phone. There are a lot of posts about BT issues with this phone.

Which watch do you have?

It really does baffle me when I read about the Bluetooth connection issues with the 6p. Absolutely zero issues with mine and I have it connected to several different USB items. I have it connected to my original moto 360, 3 different Bluetooth speakers, two Bluetooth headsets and two Bluetooth adapters. I have zero issues with any of them. They work great with my phone and have the expected range. One of my Bluetooth speakers and one of my adapters are four and five years old also. I wonder why some of the phones seem to have issues

I get the same issue with my Moto 360 2nd gen. For some reason when I connect it in the morning it shows that it's disconnected on the watch, I then power cycle the watch and everything is fine. However, I am having serious issues with the watch not vibrating when a notification comes in. Especially with Gmail.

After messing around with the so called issues I had with the hardware, the cellular connections, the Bluetooth connections etc. I have wrapped this up to being a buggy OS. Think about it, I remember when this same thing happened to Lollipop and we were talking about the same stuff. Once Google has ironed out the bugs and sent out the update we'll be loving life. The Nexus 6P is going to be an unstoppable phone when the OS is bug free!

Try hard resetting the watch software as well. This should help with the connectivity.
