Well I see the Mosque thread got closed. I wanted to apologize to both the mods and the last person who I told Maybe if your family member died we would see what side of the fence you be standing on. Because I believe they took it in the wrong way. I did not wish there family member dead, but wanted them to think how they would feel about the whole building of this Mosque.
Now let me make one thing clear about this Oath I took back in the 1960"s
I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
Read it very carefully my friend and see the part about foreign and domestic enemies. Well though I support the First Amendment I also support defending that right. Be it against a POTUS, Congress, elected officials or just people in general that will take this country down......
This will be the last word on the subject and again my apologies to the Mods for bringing this onto your site. I usually stay away from these discussions. Especially when the people I deal with have not lived long enough to know what this country is about and stands for.
Edited- I need to edit to make sure people understand that when I say protect from domestic enemies. Like Congress or the POTUS. I mean at the ballot box. I do not condone sedition or would use violent means. I hope in my life time or my children's that we never have to use violent means to save this country.
