My App Icon keeps disappearing after Restart

Since I updated to 4.4.2 I lose my far right app icon in my favorites menu when I restart my Nexus 7 2013. The wallpaper changes as well.

Are you talking about the app drawer icon? Regarding the wallpaper, not sure why that would be either. Are you by chance using a third-party launcher?

I have same issue with disappearing icon on my N10. I'm using the GEL launcher.

Yes, the drawer icon. It's always the far right one. I have GEL installed.

I have the same problem with the right icon but not the wallpaper. Started with 4.4.2 OTA. Running rooted stock with GEL.

I have the wallpaper SNAFU but not the icon. OTA 4.2.2 Moto X, unrooted, stock launcher.

I shut down last night and when I rebooted tonight my Christmas HD live wallpaper was still active. And then... It wasn't. It seemed to pick a random wallpaper. The app didn't update so that's not what happened.... Odd!
