My apps are using too much battery

My LG v20 is being worked up by some apps. This has never been an issue before. This started to happen after I did a factory reset, which I have done on the same phone for years at least 2 or 3 times a year since I bought it. Any ideas why this is happening?

That notification doesn't necessarily mean that those apps are draining battery drastically. Have you noticed any significant change in your overall battery life? It might be helpful to see a screenshot of your Battery Usage menu after the phone has gone from 100% down to around 20%, so we can get a better idea of the battery life and what's using it.

Also keep in mind that an 8 year old phone's battery will inevitably have significantly worse battery life due to age and normal usage. Even if you replaced the battery, that replacement battery was probably sitting around on a shelf for years, and may have already deteriorated to a certain extent by the time you got it.
