I've only had it 2 days. So why a review so soon? Read on. Let me say first off that I'm a tech junkie. I've had 8 smartphones in less than a year. The ones I like, I keep. I sell the rest. So, I'm comparing the A7 to the LG v10, galaxy note 4, S6 edge, S7 edge, nexus 5x, nexus 6p, Google pixel, and axon 7 mini. I bought the A7 because of its superior audio system. I was so impressed with the mini, that i decided on going full tilt. Upon opening the box, you could see right away the quality built into this phone. Every inch of the A7 was a perfect fit. Using the "we share" app transferring all apps and files from the mini, was an effortless task. Not only were these transfered to my new device, but they were also set up 100% correctly as they were in the mini. So after updating 22 apps and doing a system update, I was ready to rock & roll with the new axon in less than 40 minutes. Im using project fi in this phone so I'll be on the T-mobile network. I also slipped an already loaded 128gb sd card into it so my media, both music and HD movies, were good to go. So far there have been no hiccups of any kind. The A7 is fast, smooth, and does everything you ask it to without a hitch. Calls were very clear. And the screen very vivid and colorful. It was nice to receive such a high end product WITHOUT getting ripped off. The audio system on this phone, complete with dolby atmos, is outatanding through speakers and headphones. And, yes, better than the v10. I'm so happy with the A7 that it will become my main phone. I have an S7 edge that I also love, but the audio on it is very much lacking. The screen is a bit better than the A7 though. Now as far as the new pixel is concerned, Google can keep it. The battery life is outstanding, but excellent on my A7 and S7, but, really, nothing else is great on it. Its the worst 700.00 bucks I ever spent. It's also ugly as sin. So I hope you all enjoy your ZTE axon 7 phones as much as I am. If you have any questions, lets talk about it.

Glad you are enjoying your "7". Since we talked during Black Friday, thought I would through in I bought the Le Eco Le Pro 3. Got it for a ridiculous amount of $249.

The "7" was my runner-up choice.

You might want to add to your impressive collection of products.

It is impressive. Yes it has top of the line 821 chip which screams, great sound through speakers and USB-C headphones, sharp screens and generous 64 gb storage.

But as a power user, I want to bring your attention to the 4000 mA battery. It truly lasts all day. All phones should be
equipped. FYI, got a Le Eco Quickcharge Portable 13,500 Battery for $9.99 during flash sales.

Finally, put on my backed up Nova Launcher, which solved Le Eco software issue.

For $249, definitely good for 1-2 years.

Excellent. I'm thrilled with the axon7 at this point. As far as battery life, I've never had an issue. My S7 edge and axon7 go the whole day of heavy use no issues.

Does the LeEco have expandable storage?

Does the LeEco have expandable storage?

No SD slot on Pro 3, but at 64gb storage it is way more than I need. ONLY using 20gb,so much to grow. Don't Fill up with much, music, photo, video.

64gb should be minimum they sell, given current needs.

Amazed you buy and sell so many phones. You must have good review information.

Glad u enjoying A7...i my self thinking of getting one...iam looking for 128gb 4gb ram version .
Iam currently using S7 edge lumia 950 and iphone 5...
Good se axon 7 doing well is worth the price...only hoped it had water resistant feature...plz give more feed back as days go by

I'm on the fence as well about the A7. I keep two phones going. One larger and one smaller. My per say smaller one is the Honor 8 which I think is one of the best. That being said, the A7 would be replacing my Nexus 6P. I like my 6p but I keep being drawn in by this A7. I feel like it's just a matter of time now. My other choice was the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe but there is just not enough feedback on that phone to enable me to purchase it. The A7 seems to have quite a following which is great bc it gives me the feedback I need. If im not mistaken, the A7 sounds like it will out perform my 6p. Anyone know this to be certain?

I'm more than satisfied with this phone. I'm a phone ***** too, but I figure with a 2yr warranty I might keep this for the 2 just cuz I'm so impressed with it. My only gripe is that my Spotify seems to always pause for no reason and it never happened 'til I used this phone. If I can solve that then this phone is my perfect match

Well, on day 4 now and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Remember that the A7 has an sd card slot for added storage. Battery life is as good as my pixel. Phone is a split second slower but really not noticeable. But that audio system, WOW

I have had the phone for over a month and I am very happy with it...

the non-lit buttons and the position of the power button are minor irritations but given the other choices out there, especially at this price, there is nothing out there that comes close for what I want in a phone...pretty sweet not having a Next Payment on my ATT bill....

Amen.

So far seems like a nice phone. I went nuts and got the 6 gig ram 128 gig storage model from axon directly....eh...might have been better off going for a black friday deal on the regular model for $350. At least I can put tons of games on it as a backup phone in memory and not worry about running out of space!
The mini axon 7 is ...not terrible. But it has a slower processor, worse camera and just found out it does not have 801 ac wi-fi, only N 2.4 gig band. For a device in 2016 that seems dumb way to cut costs. Thought I'd get one as a music player but the wi fi issues are concerning...

I'm hoping the axon 7 can be used in google daydream soon...with all that storage onboard for the high end model plus the microsd slot it would be good to load videos for VR.

Now that I've had the time to put this phones audio prowess to the test, i did. So on went my bose qc3 headphones and I plugged in. Unfortunately, rocket player premium refused to properly work on this device. The devs are trying to figure it out. So, using the stock player, I started listening to all kinds of music. The hifi is noticeable instantaneously. Truly awsume sound.

Bro i was looking at 128gb 4gb ram model...thou 6gb model has force touch is it worth the extra $$...let me know coz me happy getting 4gb ram version also

Had bought my son a 6p....it got up to a whopping 170 degrees per gsam and the phone itself and kept shutting down. Was using it's included charger. Moved to the Axon 7 after the Honor 8 was eh and it is a very very nice phone. You get so much for what you pay for. I think I payed 520.00 total after a price adjustment.

Best buy has it for 350.00 plus a 50.00 gift card. (I always get protection because ya know, kids). BH Photo same price but with free headphones.
For 350.00 plus a $50.00 gift card IMHO you can't go wrong. Buttons take some getting used to, and the fingerprint sensor is good but not great. But it is a solid phone. The packaging, the device itself, etc. is fantastic. Worth every penny.

I found that outdoor shots and indoor under. Good lighting, come out very well. In low light conditiobs, you may be a little disappointed.

In all honesty, what camera in a phone is going to give you amazing shots in low light conditions? No phone out today can compete with my DSLR...But I don't expect my phone to do that.

Sensors are sensors, and there isn't much difference between them overall.

You should use a galaxy S7 or S7 edge camera. While I'm sure it won't compete with a dslr, the indoor, low light shots are spectacular.

The Axon 7 does fine for me. The only light in the room is from my monitor.
