My battery drains quick and my phone freezes

I have an Android K7 i havent even had it for a year. I downloaded a launcher because the last one took much space. My battery has been draining ... Crashing apps and freezing ive done tge pressing the power button and restart thing ive pulled the battery as well cant afford a new phone can anyone help me ?

Welcome to Android Central! Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

You might have to install a 3rd party battery monitor, like GSam Battery Monitor, to get the Cell Signal Strength graph.

When you say you downloaded a launcher because the last one took too much space, do you mean that it took up too much internal storage, or too much RAM? Remember that if you install a 3rd party launcher, the stock launcher the phone came with will still take up internal storage. Since it's a preinstalled system app, you can't uninstall it (and it wouldn't be a good idea to try).

This is highly technical advice for many people. I couldn't do most of this stuff. (I hate to admit I don't even know what a category is.)

I used to have the same symptoms as the OP, but now I cannot get the phone to turn on at all, even after charging it three times. The phone is just a project now. I'll probably try changing the battery when I have some extra time.
