My battery goes down even when recharging!

Hey! My Samsung Galaxy S3 have worked perfectly ever till a few days ago! Now when I am usinh my phone when recharging the battery goes down! I have the lowest screen brightness.

OBS! It even goes down when not using it! I have to turn it off to recharge!


Please help!

Sounds like your battery is dying. Are you using a different charger recently? There is nothing to fix really...

I've also experienced my battery going down on my apartment. I assumed it was something wrong the outlet/wiring in the building being only at times it would go down and other times it charged fine. Does this with the original battery along with my 2nd somewhat new aftermarket battery.

Might be worth trying a new charger, or charging another device to see if it is performing correctly.

This happened with my GS2, I found out that the port had gone bad, as I could not even hook it up to my computer, no message stating it was connected on either end. I ended up having to send it in through my warranty.

If thats the case it might be worthwhile to switch to wireless charging. If your interested I can link you to my touchstone mod, or you can google for a bunch of different ones. (Cheaper than going the QI tag way)

If you have another charger use that to check the one you mainly use.

I had this issue with the stock charger after having it for 5 months.
I also had a Touch n' go charger I bought for cheap from Walmart.

Between mixing and matching cables and adapters, I discovered the cable of the stock charger crapped out.

I ended up purchasing a micro usb cable sold/branded by Amazon. It's thicker, nicer looking, and I think it's even longer. It's also pretty cheap too. I know it's under 5 bucks.

At this stage it could be anything. The adapter, cable, port, battery, maybe even a software issue.

I'm sorry, but that thread's first two posts -- by that thread's starter (aka, its "original poster" or "OP") -- are just ridiculously wrong and misleading.

I have, however, added a third post to that thread which sets straight the record; and provides any Samsung Galaxy famly phone user -- particularly a Note II user -- with pretty much everything s/he needs to know about this subject.

its not a problem with the mobile or battery.. just change the adapter of your usb charger everything will be fine.

I've got 3 chargers all around my house and all of them work fine with other devices but sometimes my phone doesn't charge when it has a charging sign on it.
