My battery is trippin

So my phone got really hot this morning about 20 mins ago. And the battery drastically dropped.... it has never done this before. I've had it since June 25, and usually get between 9-14 hours depending on my usage.

Anyone have this issue or know why? I hope it gets better.... my battery is sick

Did you try a reboot? Mine does this every now and then where it will drop like 10-15% an hour with little usage..reboot and it goes back to about 1-2% an hour when not used...

It dropped more than that. I rebooted, but now I have to charge it

I had that issue... I pulled the battery out for like 1-3 minutes and reboot. But also to preserve battery I use my toggles a lot. If I'm on wifi my mobile data is off. Or if I'm not using it. I get about 10-12 hours on heavy use, and 13-16 hours on moderate use.
