I must say I am really impressed with the battery life I am getting... 2 days in and I've consistently gotten over 7 hours of screen on time each day!

Now I use my phone in a very efficient way but I do use my phone and this is about 2 hours longer than anything I've ever had before

Re: 2 Days In Fantastic Battery Life!

Did you tweak any settings for more battery life, i.e. stopping/deleting bloatware, etc, or is this the factory settings.

So far my battery life is much better than i ever got on my Note 5 :D

Very nice.. I got about 6hr15min of screen time on my first full day off the charger. This phone definitely isn't lacking in the battery life dept.

I disabled and uninstalled whatever I could find and I keep my brightness low most of the day except when in direct sunlight of course

I always get around 9+ hours screen on time no big deal Redmi note 4

Re: 2 Days In Fantastic Battery Life!

Mine has gotten better from when the day I got it. I always think it takes a few cycles for your battery life to normalize. But here I am ten days later and I am still not getting what you guys are getting. I disabled/uninstalled unwanted bloatware and all that. I think whats happened is that I've messed up by adding a bunch of apps that sync and update in the background constantly. I'm in the process of trying to find them and set it so that they don't update so much. Example: I have about five weather apps(I'm a weather junkie) and I just found out that almost all five of them update in the background every hour or even every 30 minutes. So I think thats my biggest culprit. I'll have to fiddle with everything and see how it goes.

Yeah I didn't use any restoring app features.. I set everything up from scratch and cut a lot of apps that I no longer need/use

What do you guys do for a living where your phone screen is on for 9 hours a day and spend >5 hrs a day on youtube? I can't hit those screen on times even on the weekends.

Well actually I have YouTube playing on my phone and I listen through Bluetooth while I'm at work (currently working 12-hour shifts 6 days a week) but I'm not actually supposed to be on my phone at work at all so shhhhh.... Don't tell anyone lol

I have YouTube Red also so I usually download a bunch of Clips before work which helps with battery life also
