Wow, That is really not bad at all. Sure you get a little "tearing" with fast pans and the image stabilization, if any, isn't great, these would be problems in any small camera video, but it seems like it has fairly impressive low light ability and can take an impressive full HD video for something crammed into a phone, Thanks!

I know this is minor but can you please tell me how the "copy/paste" works in the browser? Is it the two little indicators that you slide to the beginning and the end of the text to be copied or is it the dreadful Motorola "slide ur far finger over text that you can not see anymore due to said fat finger" method?

Oh, and what about the sound?? Primarily YouTube videos.. usually really low on most phone including my thunderbolt.

This Pentile thing is the only thing that might hold me back from this. I am a new member, so not trolling or anything. I am just curious about this screen and will plan a trip to Verizon to find out for myself. But just to compare, I bought the OG the day it came out, and it has been my phone ever since. I have absolutely loved it. Dropped it, thrown it, done some stupid things with it in my pocket, and only a few nicks to show for it, not to mention the perfect screen that seems impossible to scratch. This is the reason why I want Motorola for my upgrade.
Anyhow, I went to that solid green page on my droid and it looks fine. Is there a difference in the screen in my OG Droid compared to these Pentiles? Two years later, I still think the screen looks gorgeous on mine.

I am about to watch the LSU Tigers play. More later. The SCREEN IS FINE! If you're looking for SAMOLED this is not it. Screen is very, very good.
I've learned quite a bit from this post. When I go to Verizon on Thursday, I will know exactly what to look for and what features to test out.

Just wanted to say thank you for doing all of this. I have an OG Droid and have been dreaming of the Bionic for months. Can't wait to see it in person.
One question - OG Droid had a metal back, hear this one is plastic. I've dropped mine a number of times, but the metal sure held up. Plastic can be good or poor in quality, what is your opinion? And, yes I realize we each might think differently about the quality.

it is a smooth plastic. Feels sturdy though. Not slick plastic. Definite Moto sturdy feel.
Verizon selling Bionic accessories now just picked a couple. The lapdock was $300 not ready to that.
