my blackberry isnt working, hep :(

i used the blackberry tablets' charger as the charger for my blackberry torch , then while charging i used my phone to watch youtube videos and suddenly when i took a bath my is dead and the red light keeps on flickering so i was worried because before i took a bath the phone was almost charge and so i tried removing the battery for an hour or so it did load but before it was completed my phone switched off and the red light is just flickering. should i change the battery ? or did me watching youtube affected my phone and somehow got caught in a virus ?
