My blu m8l tablet won't turn on

Welcome to AC!

Do you hear any sound ?
What was battery percentage at?

Welcome to Android Central! Plug it into a wall outlet and let it charge undisturbed for at least 6 hours. Then press and hold Power for about 30 seconds. If nothing happens, wait a few seconds, and then press and hold Power again for another 30 seconds. If still nothing, then either the battery or the motherboard have failed.

That's a pretty new tablet, so it should still be under warranty. You can contact Blu for warranty repair or replacement.

its just a black screen, 4-5 days ago it did the same thing, after it went dead it just wouldn't turn back on when i put it on the charger, then they day before yesterday it just randomly decided to turn on when i put it on the charger, now its doing it again, its a blu m8l tablet

Welcome to AC!

Probably need to send in to repair shop see if it's a battery issue and worth fixing

Welcome to Android Central! As previously suggested above, bring it back to the seller, since it's so new. Or contact Blu directly, since it should be under warranty (assuming you bought it new, and not used).

This is an ultra-budget tablet, so I wouldn't be surprised if quality control was poor.

typcal day of usage all was normal(that was yesterday)- put it on the charger- went to check it today- screen flickered then dead - no sound tried to hold the power and the sound as instructed no change. i put it back on the charger and cheked yes its plugged in)

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, it has probably failed. As mentioned above, I would suspect quality control is an issue at Blu. If the device is still under warranty, contact Blu support.

okay so- apperently- somhow- the polarity on the charger got reversed-(as weird as that sounds) as nothing on either the charger the cord or the device gives room to doubt the posabillity for that to happen. but long story short the issue corrected (whatever it really was. still scratching my head on it (but it is academic at this point)
thanks for your response.

OK, glad it works now. Regardless, I would still be very cautious about keeping any important data on that device. If you do, make sure it's backed up or synced somewhere else safe on a regular basis, since I wouldn't be surprised if that device had more hardware issues in the near future.
