My BOOTLOADER just LOCKED via an OTA update UEKG4!

My stock unrooted wifi galaxy tab 10.1 just received an update OTA that seems to have done nothing except LOCK my unlocked bootloader. It was only 11.2mb and during the update process my tab went into download mode, then to a command line looking interface with commands related to encrypting bootloader. I no longer have the unlocked symbol upon boot up. Look out for update version UEKG4!

I just looked and have no such update yet. What flavor do you have?

I wouldn't worry too much about a locked bootloader, you can still root and install a custom rom. I believe what would be worriesome is an encrypted bootloader. I would assume that by the time a new kernel is out, xda will have solved the bootloader locking.

I'll bet this has to do with Google Movie support being sent out. Did you have one of the NYC release tabs? I seem to recall Google wouldn't support movies on devices with unlocked bootloaders....
