my brand new Samsung 8 plus that i bought not even week a week ago is giving a huge headache.

so i have the finger print and password lock too and now the finger print isn't recognizing my fingers and the password aint working plus i cant turn off the phone to hard reset it coz it needs the password to even switch off the phone. i even tried making mistakes for like 20 times thinking it would take me back to the gmail account and i could reset it from there but no luck with that too. it takes me back to the lock screen even after 30+ times mistakes. what can i do??

You can unlock it with Android manager which is an online management center for lost or stolen devices.

You can try booting into maintenance mode. Hold the volume down and power button for 15 seconds. If it works you have a couple options to restart.
I am not sure if this works on the S8, but you can give it a try.
