My camera does not focus properly??

My Huawei P8 Lite phone camera(especially the rear-facing camera) can't focus properly and is very blurry when taking photos of writing on a page. I cant see anything wrong physically with the camera and have wiped it with a cloth several times very carefully. I am currently running on Android version 5.0.1 and have had no problems with the camera before. When the camera tries to focus on a particular point it shows up with a circle that turns red when trying to focus but when I used to use it before(when it was working properly) the cirlce would be blue. I can't seem to paste the image in here or post links to the image so if you need photos to show whats going on can you tell me please. I'm not quite sure if its a hardware or software issue because even 3rd party camera apps dont focus.

Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist in Safe Mode? How to turn on safe mode on Huawei P8lite. If so, then it's probably a problem with the autofocus mechanism in the camera module. You'd have to bring it to a repair shop (or contact Huawei, if it's still under warranty).
