my cheap $150 Samsung tablet now has transparent status bar, what's Samsung and Verizon waiting for? the Galaxy Note 2 badly needs this.... it makes a big difference in how the the screen looks....

If you use nova launcher you can have it thru the settings, I have it on my s4. Unless the note 2 don't support that??

here's a screenshot from my al-cheapo $150 Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 after it got 4.2.2. update from Samsung a few days ago.
the status bar is now transparent, making the screen appear slightly larger and better looking

(ignore the smudged areas because I forgot to remove the porn app before taking the screenshot)
