My computer not reading my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

I am trying to download music from my computer to my tab via USB. But my computer isn't detecting my tab. I have also tried using Samsung Kies via usb and I am still not able to do any thing. So what can I do? I have Windows XP. Thanks

Did you download the Samsung Tab drivers to your PC? If not, you need to.

I have tried doing that. But I am not able to download the drives. It says something like it is deny access or something like that.
