Hi, everyone.
I have a stock Note 4, from T-mobile, using android 5.1.1 connected to an Asus RT-N66R router through the 5GHz net.

My internet connection is great, ISP is Comcast, and all my other devices at home never have any problems, including android tablets. A Nexus 7 and an Asus transformer.

When I'm connected on the wifi, my connection keeps freezing for something like 30s every once in a while, like every 10 minutes. The wifi still shows full signal, it's just the internet, and only on the phone.

It's really annoying, and I tried a lot of things already.

My router does not have the MAC filter on, I'm using smart switch on the phone, but I tried without it as well.

My wife has the same phone, and the same problem, so it's not exclusive to mine.

Could you help me diagnose that?

I tried looking online, but I found it really hard to find the correct words to find this problem I'm having.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks, but none of it either applies to or works in my case.

I have internet connection, it just freezes from time to time.

Have you turned off all syncing? Might be a corrupted file trying to sync.
