Hi everyone, I just got a used Galaxy Nexus(Verizon) and haven't installed anything. It was completely wiped. Got home, unlocked bootloader, rooted, downloaded Clockwordmod, did a backup of current rom and it's only 20mb. Does this sound right? Is it that small because I haven't installed anything on it? Im coming from an original DINC and all the backups were 100mb+ I want to see if this sounds right before I start installing other ROMs.

Thanks

Does not sound right to me... Might want to try again. Which version of CWM recovery have you installed? (specifically the recovery version, not rom manager or anything like that)

However if it were me I would not worry about it. A backup of your system before you start toying with it is not *really* needed, provided you can follow the Factory Images restoring guide stickied above.

Yea, sounded wrong to me too. I did do CWM Recovery from the play store. Im going to flash CMW and try a backup from that instead. Thanks

ok, flashed CMW touch, did a backup and it was 398mb. that sounds much better. Time to flash some JB ROMS!!
