My Employee's Refurb Arrived Today.. OY!

I really don't think so.

Look at the pictures you have in post #9 again. There is a small sliver of the blue in the camera lens area.

I just got the extended battery and it has the same thing on the inside and outside but clear.

I'm a photographer. HTC is not going to include a blue gel filter on their flashes. I've never had an issue with my color. If anything, I've had some shots come out too blue (bad white balance).

i thought you were AFirefighter :p

TO OP: I would not accept a replacement in that condition EVER. Call verizon support and complain. Does the unit function?

sorry to hear that. i got a replacement and it came with cardboard holding the phone. i'd call and explain the situation about no cardboard holder and the goo.

btw, i attached picture of the cardboard holder on my replacement.

I remember when the cardboard was solid and had no movement. Now, it looks so cheap and that's the norm as my friend had the same thing. Way to save some money, Verizon.

Well, I suppose I'm going against the grain, but...

The blue film is just a protective covering.

Personally, I'd prolly accept the phone. Knowing that when you take a picture with harsh directional lighting, that is an extreme closeup, it can make things look worse than they are.
