My new HTC 10 was having issues with both it's headphone jack output and internal speakers, along with a wifi issue.I called HTC and they said they'd overnight a new phone to me and send me an email.
Great!
one hour later... no email.
I call them again and they say there is no such service. Call 5 times over the next few days to speak with different reps and finally have no option but to send the phone in for repair. They were gracious enough to send me a prepaid 2 day label (most customers pay for shipping them, apparently), so I sent my device in last Thursday.
HTC receives the device Monday and says my device has been repaired (though I'm expecting it was FUBAR) and is on it's way back with 2 day shipping. Impressive! 6 day turnaround.
Today, I wait for UPS to deliver my phone until finally, at 7:09 PM, I get a notice that my address was undeliverable. The entire thing was correct, except HTC entered "#14" instead of "Apartment 14." Really UPS?? Can anyone explain that to me?
To add insult to injury, UPS says because I called at 7:15 PM and not 6:59 PM, My package will be redelivered in two days instead of the next day. While I rationally knew the UPS rep had no control over the situation, he put the blame on my "undeliverable" address and was completely unapologetic. I can't say I was pleasant in return.
Since I'm a firm believer in "the squeaky wheel gets the grease", I complained on Facebook to UPS and was told they *will* resolve this for me.
We'll see.
