My Experience With The LG G5 That Replaced The Galaxy S5 For Me

I believe they were complaining about the G5

True, as I mentioned it, also. The S5 wasn't glorified either.

My point was, not many actual users of the device will come back to find a solution to their problems, if some of the answers (not yours, don't get me wrong) are clearly meant to be rude.

The items you post are simply user input and getting used to a new device.

In your previous debacle about having to spend $700.00, which by the way, the phone is $629.00, you knew there was no wireless charging because you were told about it 20 times.

Heavier phone than your S5? Well I would sure hope that a former "R&D Electronics Technician" ****cough - Radio Shack Cashier - end cough**** could tell the difference between a plastic S5 and a metal G5.

Take the phone back and get a refund. That $700.00 is going to be the death of you.......

I really didn't need your nasty post. I've never worked for Radio Shack. I did work for 27 years as an Electronics Research & Development Technician with an ASEET ( Associate in Science in Electronics Engineering Technology - 1969 ), but that was before 1995.

So kindly sod off with such garbage. You sound like pure TROLL.

Yesterday the 2-1/2 week old G5 gave me an on-screen message when I plugged it into the charger, that the fast charging is not working. I left it plugged in overnight and it remained at 93% charged when I came back in the morning. Now I have to go back to Verizon with it, this week.

Hopefully its just the charger or cable

Here's an update. The charging problem started after one of two updates that the phone had me do, since getting it a few weeks ago.

So today, I finally got the time to take it back to the Verizon store. The guy was very helpful there, and pulled the battery out, then put it back in, and plugged it into the charger. Within about 15 minutes, it had gone from 85% to 95% charged, exceeding the 92-93% point where it had stopped charging, no matter how long I left it - EVEN overnight. I don't know if this was something that LG had coached them to do, to solve this issue, but it worked, though I'm uncertain as to why. But the phone is back home and it rapidly reached 100% again, after that.

Has anyone else experienced this?

It probably reset or calibrated the battery monitor
