My external speaker crackles and it's unusually quiet at full volume

I bought a brand new LG X charge last Thursday and yesterday it got quieter than it usually is at, even with headphones. Today I noticed a crackling noise that came out of nowhere. I haven't dropped it or gotten it wet. It happens on every app. I also downloaded an equalizer and it doesn't do anything at all whenever I mess with it.
