My face recognition option is grayed out . .on my Note 8

how do i fix that feature as it use to work? Did an update disable it?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using the phone with a work account? If so, their security policy might prevent you from using less secure unlock methods.

If you have Iris detection setup you can't use face detection

Hey there, i just updated my Samsung Note 8 and my facial recognition doesn't work too! I've tried all sorts of ways of rebooting / clearing cache etc, but it is still grayed out. The only thing I haven't done is to do a factory reset. I'm hoping someone here might have a solution before I try that! Thanks in advanced!

I'm in the same situation as aniviam above. It worked before the update but now I cannot get it back on.
