My facebook account isn't getting notifications

I've narrowed down the problem to my actual facebook account. I've tried logging in on my phone with another account and that is receiving notifications.

I've tried every single notification related setting, and battery power saving setting on the phone and in the app and I can't for the life of me figure out why I'm not getting notifications.

Anyone else had this problem?

Which phone do you have? Is Restrict Background Data turned on?

S7 edge, and no it's not. I don't believe it's an android setting considering another account works on the same phone.

I recall another thread about this a while ago, where the user simply could not get their notifications working for that one account, while others worked normally on the same phone as well. I don't think even Facebook support could figure it out.:-\ Hopefully this isn't the same issue. Let me see if I can dig that thread up, but it can be hard finding things with AC's current search function.
