My Facebook page won't open

It's saying Facebook as stopped.

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps, select Facebook, then Storage, then Clear Cache/Clear Data. Now open it again and log back in. Does the problem persist?

Mine is doing the same thing. I deleted the cache and data but that didnt help. I deleted the app and reinstalled but still crashes. I did a system update this morning and was able to use the app after that for a few hours but thats when i started having the problem

It seems to be a worldwide issue. Don't waste your time clearing the cache or reinstalling. We'll just have to wait.

Yes and there's also Facebook Lite that works quite well right now. It seems it's only affecting the original app.
