My fast charge feature, all of a sudden does not work now. Anyone have this problem?

My fast charge feature, all of a sudden does not work now.

Literally overnight my verizon, Samsung Galaxy s6 edge won't fast charge. When I'm at about 30% it says 5hrs until full charge. Anyone have a similar situation?

That actually happened to me last night! I noticed my charger was really hot when I plugged it in earlier in the day. When I was going to bed I noticed it said about 2 hours when it was on 40% and I was really confused. Then I noticed it not only said fast charging, but slow charing, and instructed me to connect the charger the phone came with. I unplugged it from the wall and my phone and tried it again and fast charging was back. Hopefully it won't happen again. Maybe your cord got bent or something? Check where it's plugged in on the wall

This and if it doesn't help test a new cable.
