The Note Edge drew me in and begged me to join forces with its alluring charms. I've been out of the smaartphone game since . . . well, since forever. Technically, this will be my first smaartphone, ever. I've come close, but it was an iPod Touch 5th Gen, that I pretended was a smaartphone to feel better about my predicament. I used it with Google Voice on WiFi, to avoid cellular fees for many years, but now I've finally come around to the dark side.
I figured I've saved enough money by avoiding a cell-phone bill for all these years, to dive straight into the deep end. I hope I don't regret this choice, but I don't think I will. It'll be nice to FINALLY be on par with the rest of society - but I still think I'll keep a dumb-phone around as my daily-driver. I think I'll keep the smaartphone as my garage-queen, to only be used in the safest environments, over fluffy pillows in climate-controlled, padded rooms for its own safety. This phone is by far the most costly phone in my short time on this planet, and I'm approaching this with some apprehension.
I figured I ought to join this forum, as I'm in a new class of cellular'ing. Regards.
