My First Android Phone

This phone is an AWESOME starting Android phone. It was my first Android phone. It showed me that Android is the best! Without this phone I would be brainwashed and have my iPhone and never have wanted anything to do with Android! Thank you Hero for showing me the Android world and being my first Android phone and my 4th phone ever! You are a really awesome phone but too bad I had to retire you! The only problem I had with you was that I never got to taste FroYo. Hero was my first Android experience and my BEST!

Welcome to the community You wont get a Sprint released Froyo ROM, but you can get it by rooting the phone and installing custom ROMs. Look around, you will find more info as youfamiliarize yourself with the community.

Ya I was looking around for a FroYo ROM but I decided to just leave it how it is. I am focusing more on my Nexus S now. Thank you a lot though!

Ha ha, sorry about that. When I posted last night I failed to catch two main things:

1. You said the Hero "Was" your first Android phone;
2. The registration date and signature about the Nexus S.

I was under the impression that you just got the Hero. Well, sorry to see you go, I'm sure you're not disappointed with the Nexus S (More so since an Alpha-Build of Gingerbread is out).

I had a HTC hero for a very short time, but for some reason I never knew about this forum.

Great phone - but freezes up a lot.

Note: There are so many Android phone users out there that have no idea that this forum exist.
