My friend does not get notification sounds when I text her

I have a Note 5, she has a IPhone 5. When anyone else texts her. Android or iPhone she gets the sound but when I text her no sound. Text is going through, just no sound. Anyone have ideas? Seems strange, just my phone. And no, she's not ignoring me. Lol. I sat right there and texted her.

There is a do not disturb mode go into contacts on her phone open the contact for u push settings button (the one on the phone on the bottom not the touch screen part) it will say auto reject or do not disturb. Their is also a special do not disturb mode that can be activated.
