My friend's phone keeps downloading stuff.

Hello! My friend told me hes getting ads on everything, even on the home screen. So I checked and there was a Night Fan Fake APK. It popped up ads on everything. So i deinstalled it, and ads stopped coming. And now the nwxt day theres a Magnifyer PRO app what does the same thing. These APKs take normally around 90-150mb of space. Phone is Samsung Galaxy J5 SM-J530F

There is some other app on the device that is causing this issue. While factory resetting the device is the quickest way to get rid of the problem, if you factory reset and use the auto restore feature you'll just be adding the problem back. So you'll want to disable that before factory resetting the device.
