My Galaxy Core Prime won't fully restart, what can I do?

Last night, my phone had died, so I put it on the charger before I went to bed. Today, when I try to turn it on, it boots up, but it stays on the red Verizon screen and the LED flashes when I do. It stays like that; it never fully boots up. I've tried to reboot it from recovery mode, and that didn't work either. I don't know what to do.

Have you tried booting the device in safe mode?
